Size: Approx 9 1/2" x 12"
Materials: LION BRAND Wool-Ease Thick & Quick, Item #640 (6 oz. balls)
- 2 balls Fisherman #099
- One crochet hook size P (12mm) OR SIZE NEEDED TO OBTAIN GAUGE
- One 1" button
- Tapestry needle
Gauge: 2 stitches and 3 rows = 1" in single crochet
BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE.
Bag
Chain 27. Row 1 Working into second chain from hook, work 26 single crochet, chain 1, turn. Work each row in single crochet until piece measures 18" from beginning. On last row make button loop as follows: work across 13 single crochets, chain 8, continue to end of row. Fasten off.
Finishing
Fold piece in half and sew or crochet together side seams.
Crochet strap
Make a chain 36" long. Attach strap to side seams at top of purse. Weave in loose ends and sew on button.
